The Inspiration

(Cover & Striking) happened by accident back in 2015 when I had a lesson with my instructor Tim. It started with him saying you are going to do some focus mitt training and before the exercise he would say (Cover) that meant keeping my guard up or getting punched. During that exercise, I dropped my guard and was lightly punched. After the third time a light went off in my head, so after that lesson I rushed home and started brainstorming. In a few days, I came up with (Cover & Striking) which is an alternative way of saying (Defense & Offense).

Our Purpose

The reason for creating (Cover & Striking) martial arts apparel is that it reflects my passion for martial arts and training apparel. In addition, it expresses and celebrates this alternative version of this principle through selected apparel items. Now I want to share it with all of you who have an interest, appreciation, and passion for martial arts. It doesn’t matter what style you train in because it applies to all the fighting arts.
